As the general elections (LS Poll) dates are finalize on Wednesday the IPL 7 dates might be declared soon. The IPL lovers are waiting for the IPL7 schedule to come. IPL Chairman Ranjib Biswal said on Wednesday that 60% to 70% IPL 7 matches will be played in India. As its an India Premier League so India will be the first priority for the matches to be played.
Biswal said to reporters, "Now that the elections dates have been finalised, we are working towards hosting bulk of the matches in India. Since it is the Indian Premier League we need to accommodate as many matches in India,"
he added, "Today, we discussed about foreign venues but we haven't decided yet as we need couple of days more to finalise the offshore venue,"
As the other matches which will be affected by general elections in India, it might be played at Bangladesh, UAE or South Africa. IPL7 might be played from April 9 to June 3 but still the dates are not confirmed and it will be in next few days.
